Can not create a new 'Folder' in outlook express

Question

I know how to create a new folder in outlook express but recently it is not doing it and there are no error messages?  It goes through the process as if it was creating a folder, but no  folder.   Thankyou Frank

Right click on 'local folders' in the left pane and select 'new folder'   Or   File/Folder/New   but the local folders must be highlighted when you do it this way.

mombodog,   I have been doing what you suggested right along and it has not worked.  Any other suggestions?   Thanks for the help   Frank
