Can't Change Display Settings
I have a Lattitude running Win98. The screen settings are 640 X 480. Everytime I change the settings to 800 X 600 pixels or 1024 X 768 pixels, the pc ask for me to reboot and once the machine comes back up it goes back to the 640 X 480 pixels.
Any help is appreciated.

Reinstall the drivers for your video adapter. If you need them, instructions for this can be found through the Reisntall Guide link under Product Support above this forum.

Before you reinstall the drivers, check these two locations in your Registry to see if they contain "800,600" in Resolution. One may say something different than the other.
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Display\Settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Config\0001\Display\Settings
If you have never edited your registry, do not mess with them without backing up (exporting) an existing copy of the registry to your desktop first.

Thanks guys, but I had already re-installed the drivers and that fixed it.
