Can't create OS restore disk
I followed Dell's instructions to the word and can't create a OS restore disk on CD.
1) The process started OK, but somewhere along the way (I was in another room), the following message popped up : "There was an error during creation of the imape. Please restart and try again."
2) I did that and after updating some drivers, it finished copying the i386 directory files and popped up the following message: "The image for the operating system could not be built. Please reboot and try again.
3) When I rebooted, I got a repeat of 1 and then after restarting 2.
The disk creation always starts at 17% and goes through this process.
Anything I can do or do I need to get a Dell OS disk?
Thanks.
