Canvas 27, Windows 10, software installer driver issue

The Canvas 27 installer software is continually trying to install the Canvas pen driver version number 7.6.1.8 without success in Windows 10 1809, fresh install.I was wondering if anybody else is having this issue?

I've also downloaded the stand-alone drivers (direct from Dell's website) which has also said that they have successfully installed and yet the canvas installer software which automatically checks for updates is continually telling me that they need to be installed again!

It is unknown why the Canvas 27 installer software is mis-reporting this. The Windows 10 operating system should have a notation in its Apps that Canvas Pen driver 7.6.1.8 was installed. Then the Canvas 27 installer software should have recorded this. No idea why it is not happening here. From a Dell troubleshooting point of view, all you can do is uninstall all of the Canvas software and drivers, restart the PC, and reinstall the Canvas drivers and software.

Thanks for your reply, it's much appreciated when that moderator gets involved.

I'm thinking it's something to do with Windows 10 1809 build as I didn't have this issue with the 1803 build as the canvas installer did all the necessary including install the canvas pen version 7.6.1.8 without this issue occurring so I may wait for windows to be updated sort this issue out.

I was just curious to see anybody else was having this issue but it seems that the canvas 27 inch pen monitor isn't represented in the forums as much as I thought it would be almost of issues is updated to 1809 anyway as it's not causing major issues as I said I think our wait for Microsoft to get their act together as their having other issues with this build in other applications including my networking cards that suggest it will have an update soon.

Canvas pen and touch are not working. But I can use the menu button on top of the device and access the touch for that. I canvas pen app says hardware not supported but was working fine a couple days ago. I believe there is a driver issue (possibly through wacom that I accidentally clicked on when updating my adobe cc). I deleted the canvas app to reinstall it and now the Canvas installer won't reinstall the canvas pen app. I've called dell support 2 years ago and was fortunate to find someone who knew why this was happening. I call now and nobody seems to have a clue, yet I find plenty of forumns online with people who have this issue. There should be documentation somewhere. please help asap. I need this device for school and work.
