You must post your model computer. Go to My Computer, right click on the cd-dvd drive, select properties and check the recording settings. If there is no recording tab, it is not a RW (recording) drive. You could also be using an incorrect type of disk. Try a different disk.

I do have a recording tab. I guess it doesn't read that i have a inserted a blank CD in my DVD-RW drive. How would you burn it??
