CD Burner

Question

my computer doesn't read the recordable CD in my CD-Drive/DVD drive. it doesn't read or burn it. Operating system is windows xp home edition. thanks.

Hi, What is your notebook and CD/DVD drive?

You must post your model computer. Go to My Computer, right click on the cd-dvd drive, select properties and check the recording settings. If there is no recording tab, it is not a RW (recording) drive. You could also be using an incorrect type of disk. Try a different disk.

I do have a recording tab. I guess it doesn't read that i have a inserted a blank CD in my DVD-RW drive. How would you burn it?? Windows Xp media Center 2005 Dimension E510 intel pentium 4 cpu 3.00 GHz thanks
