C:\Documents and settings\username\Start Menu\programs\Startup
This is probably a very immaterial question, but i figured i'd ask.
So I used netzero as my ISP and majority i use my computer to surf and email. So upon startup, I'd like to have netzero startup. i've added a shortcut of the program and dragged into this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
and it still won't execute the program upon startup.
i've been using the netzero taskbar startup icon to start the program.
yes, i'm a click-minimizing type user, so any extra clicks are usually unwanted.
is it possible that the startup netzero executable IS the taskbar icon?
any suggestions?

Right, that's what i've been doing, is using the quick launch toolbar (right next to the time). I did try dragging a copy of the shortcut to the startup folder, and it still doesn't work.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
I'll keep fiddling with it.

It might need to be started after the Startup group and everything else loads, so I'd just use the the Quick Launch bar or a shortcut on your desktop.

You should be able to set Internet Explorer to dial automatically, put IE in your startup folder, and accomplish what you want to do.

then right click on iexplore.exe of C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer & select Create Shortcut
on Desktop Shortcut created right click & Copy then right click on Start button & select "Open" ,
double click on "Programs" Folder then on "Startup" Folder & right click on window & "Paste".
Enter netzero address in IE Address box , connect to site then click Tools > Internet Options & for "Home Page" click "Use Current".
You must also have your Dial-up Connection set to "Connect Automatically".
