Change of language on Windows

Hi,

I just bought a Dell Laptop as a gift for my wife, with everything in english; she prefers French.

My question is this; How can I revert the windows language to french? On the disc supplied by Dell, I know you can have the version in French.

 have all a good day,

hi pierre,

Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.

Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.

Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

I think I did not make myself clear. Sorry.

My question is this; Can I re-install Windows, French version over the English version so that the operating system is in French ?

have a good evening,

Thanks for the infos.

And, yes, there is a French versions on the disk.

I tought I would have had to de-install the English version; if It's just to re-install over it, it's a breeze.

Thank you very much.

have a good evening,
