Question

I need info on turning off chkdsk, everytime I log on to my PC. I have to wait until it finished loading, does it everytime I start, or restart, my PC gets a little anoyimg as It takes about 10 or 15 min each time. 8400 with XP OS

Can I use the informatuion from denny's site to make up  bootable disk's from my dimension 4100 start up disk's from my ME? As I cannot get access to my Dimension 8400  computer to use on my new Dimension   I guess what I am trying to say can I use the info from Denny's site making a bootable disk for my 8400 with XP by copying the info from Dennys site using me Dimension 4100 which OP ME   Copy not from this Dimension 4100 but from Dennys site using his post on copying the XP disk

cjhughes, I don't know which part of a site you are referring to. The Windows XP CD is a bootable CD so no start up disk is required.
