Clean install of Win xp professional

Hi all,

I have a Dell™ Dimension™ E310, all hardware original ; operating system is Win xp Media center editon 2005.
With a Win xp professional CD on hand and high speed internet connection, can I do a clean install, i.e. let the system boot up from the CD, reformat the HDD, thus doing a clean install without any problems with drivers, etc?
