COM+ Event System Error

​I seem to have a problem with the COM+ Event System and COM+ System Application on my machine. Both have a Manual Startup in Services, but the COM+ Event System does not register as started. I have checked two other machines, running xp, and both indicate that this service has started, which leads me to think that I have a problem. If I chose to start the service, I receive the following error message:-​

​‘Could not start the COM+ Event system service on Local Computer​

​Error 126 The specified module could not be found’​

​If I start the COM+ System Application, I receive the following error message:-​

​‘Could not start the COM+ System Application on Local Computer ​

​Error 1067 The process terminated unexpectedly’​

​My machine is logging a volume shadow copy service error and a Service Control error every time my machine has started.​

​I have run sfc /scannow, which found no errors.​

​Is there a way rectifying this problem?​
