Constant re-boot after Norton 2005 up-grade

My D8300 now will just keep re-booting after Norton 2005 upgrade from new cdrom.
It gets to "Windows" screen or sometime to show the desktop screen then re-boots.
I ran Dell diagnostic CD and it finds an error under "DATA BUS STRESS" test.  A retry
will let it continue on.   My Dell warranty ran out on 11-29-4004.  The failure was Friday
11-27-2004!  Go figure!  Any help!  I have 2- 256mb of memory and the failure comes up
with both or one at a time.

Uninstall NAV 2005 and reboot and reinstall it. Make sure you have no active programs running when you install it. Go to the Symantec Support site for more help. Look up installation. 4004???? LOL

Best bet, uninstall norton and never put it back. Use AVG free instead.
