"CONTENT ADVISOR" KEEPS POPPING UP WHEN I ACCESS THE NET

Every time I click on a net link or try to access a page a box pops up which is called CONTENT ADVISOR - I have to choose if I want to have access to the page and type in a password - I have no idea how this got started. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it.
Thanks in advance

Go to Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Content tab to disable or change settings.

atnlady,

In IE go to Tools|Internet Options|Content tab and click "Disable" under Content Advisor. If you are unable to disable it there, see the information here.
