correcting cash balance on microsoft money 2004

Question

Yesterday I  installed my stock portfolio on Money 2004, but the cash balance shown on the report is about twice as large as my actual cash balance. I am somewhat of a neophyte when it comes to computers, but I tried everything in the 'help' directory, but nothing worked to correct the balance. Can anyone help me? Thanks Chuck

Chuck, Just add an item marked 'Cash Correction' and correct the balance by subtracting an appropriate amount from the balance.  This is a common problem after importing an account.
