Crashing Explorer

My internet explorer is crashing more times than a ford explorer on firestone tires. Whenever I start browsing for awhile it crashes, stops, little box comes up and it shuts down, then sometimes it wont let me run some of my programs or they run werid (like aim, mp3 player, little things nothing big)

I get this sometimes,

Since nearly all of the problems with Internet Explorer being reported on these forums recently are due to spyware and other internet parasites, first get rid of any spyware you may have.  See the following message posted at the top of the Virus Information and Removal forum:
