customizing folders

Question

i understand that windows allows us to change the icons of most folders. i cant change the icon of my documents. any ideas on how i can customise my documents folder & change the icon used in association with it

Right click on the Documents folder and select Properties. Then select Change Icon, then Brouse. You should be in the system 32 directory. Click the View menu and select Thumbnails, then scroll through the files till you see one you like. Click on it and click Open and any enclosed Icons will appear. Select the one you want and OK your way out.
