Cut and Compress MCE Recorded TV

Just wanted to pass some info along...

I have been looking for something to edit out commercials and compress the DVR-MS file format into something a bit more manageable when I ran across dCut.  It is still beta, but in has most of the feel of MCE.  It allows you to snip commercials, and compress into WMV files… all from your remote, and it is free!  It is still a bit rough, and lacks some features, but it is something that MCE should have included.  (I’d like it even better if you could use other codex, such as DivX)

If anyone knows of better tools to do this, please let me know.
