Delete index.dat

I used to have a batch file for deleting index.dat when i was running Me. Is there one for XP?

Thanks,

John

The freeware utility Index.datsuite will generate such a batch file for you, plus allow you to view your index.dat files and more.

Get it here: http://support.it-mate.co.uk/?mode=Products&p=index.datsuite

Another one for index.dat and much more, if you don't already have it:

chuket,

Thanks. Been using ccleaner so long i forgot it does index.dat. Dat would explain why all the files were empty when i ran the index.dat suite cited above. ;-]
