deleting user's account and FILES

 As soon as I got my new XPS 720 running Vista premium ed, I fooled by creating an account for my kid, changed my mind, deleted it and then changed my mind another time, recreated it and then I am stucked with that user's files on the C:users on my system.

I can not see anyway to delete that set of files on my C: drive, Windows keeps on telling me that it is already in use by some mysterious function (no other session is running and no other programs).

So how can I delete that username.computername  account on c:users??

Thanx!
...only fools do not change their minds!

Right click Computer, select Properties

Select Advanced Settings, Select Settings under User Profiles.

Select the User and press Delete.

The system won't let me as the old username's account appear as "unknown" and the delete option is unavailable (ghosted out).

I want to delete the traces left out on c:users by the deleted users account;

as a practical example:
after I created Sam' account, deleted it, re-created it, and then once again, i am stucked on my c: drive under the users folder with:
Sam
Sam.mycomputer
Sam.mycomputer.000 and only this one is the legit functionning folder and I cannot delete the first 2...

Maybe the problem is in the name.  They are all "Sam" in some form

Try the suggestions here including renaming the old Accounts before trying to delete them.

If that does not work I don`t know what else to suggest

Renaming the Account and rebooting should do the trick.  If not, run NewSid.
