Dell Backup & Recovery 1.7.5.64 Error 5
Inspiron 620
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Intel core i3-2100 cpu @ 3.10ghz 8gb ram
Was trying to install the new Dell B&R software and the computer was shut off mid process.
Restarted computer fine, but now when trying to reinstall the B&R software it fails with error 5 every time.
Do you have a removal process for this software before re-installing?
Seems something was partially installed and now will not complete.

Called Dell Support this morning and they are sending me a USB (FREE) with the software to re-install my original system. Not sure if the PE Environment will be maintained, but at this point don't care.
This will allow me to restore my system should the hard drive fail or some other failure.
Thanks to this forum and Natakuc4, I was able to find a solution.
Thanks to Dell for their support.
Others should try a call as well.
