DELL CARE CENTER DOWNLOAD PROBLEM

Hello, :smileysad:  I am new to this so please be kind. I am not a techy so I need straight talk advice.  Dell has been telling me to download new program for updates, downloads fine until I want to install it. I keep getting a message telling me to verify publisher, which I assume is Dell.  I say OK and the screen disappears.  How do I verify this I don't have money to sit on the phone with Dell.

I do have another issue that can wait until I can get what I need on my compputer for it to recieve updates properly.

Oh, it is a Dell Demensions 4700
