Dell Command and intergration Suite for System Center Config manager 4.0
Hi,
I just installed the Dell Command and integration suite for SCCM.
When trying to import a driver cab file to create a driver package I get an error saying that the software could not retrieve the present distribution points from the server.
I tried installing the suite actually on a distribution point but got the same thing.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Please close Configuration Manager console. Then re-open it by right-clicking on the icon and select Run as Administrator.

Hi,
What driver cab are you trying to import? What system are you trying to deploy it to? What OS are you deploying to? What is the model and OS and SSCM version of the SCCM server? Have you designated a distribution point? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb681012.aspx
Check the logs on both the site server (distmgr.log and PkgXferMgr.log) as well as on the distribution point (smsdpprov.log) for any pointers to the failures.

Hi Josh,
It is a fully functional product SCCM 2012 R2 CU2 implementation with 3 DP's assigned.
OSD is working fine for our Windows 8.1 x64 deployments.
I have folder structures created for the relevant devices. I wanted to see if the integration utility would simplify driver and BIOS management as I'm having issues getting BIOS settings and updates to run in the task sequences.
SCCM is installed windows Server 2012 R2.
It is the E6440 driver cab that I am trying to import as a driver package.
Thanks
Mark
