Dell Command | Update Unable to Pull Catalog Data

As of yesterday 11/12/19, Dell Command Update will no longer pull update data. Calling Dell tech support got me no useful information. We are currently using v2.4 as we utilize the command line support and v3.0 had it removed until a "future release" back when it was released in June 2018. I'm curious if there is a server issue on Dell's side or if Command Update is pulled from support.

Application Error

GUI-UVM15

Load of update catalog data failed.

Hi all,

Thanks for your replies. As per @Pratlong statement above, is Command | Update now working for you or is it still giving the same problem so I can raise a ticket if required.

@Dell-Alan D  I can confirm that 2.4 is working on a Latitude 5495.  Haven't had a chance to try the other models but I am confident it will work on them too.    Thank you for your help on this!

@Dell-Alan D I have ran it on a few of our PCs (Precision 3620 and Latitude 6440) and it is working like normal. Thank you all for the help on this and providing information!

@DidYouRestart @bornmusician thanks for the update and confirming the issue is now resolved.

I can close this one off as being resolved.

I'm having this same issue across all my Dell devices. Things were working last week but aren't any more. @Dell-Alan D  are there any known issues with dell command update currently?

Hello,

I am having the same issue, is there a Dell Command log file to review?

Same.  Maybe the service is down?

Same issue here. dcu-cli.exe /applyupdates gives "error when downloading the necessary catalogs"

and dcu-cli.exe /driverInstall gives an unrecoverable error in the logs

Is there some status page or something for this service?

having the same issue too, just started today. worked fine yesterday  for versions 3.1.1 and 4.0

tried running on a 3520 *update - and tried on a T3620 that I just ran it on yesterday with no issues so its def. on the Dell's side of things.
