dell datasafe local backup not working

 Thank you for reaching out on the forum. I would suggest you to try these steps and let me know the outcome.

 On a Windows 7 system you need to go to repair my computer->login to your profile->go to system recovery options->select the last option which says Dell recovery manager. Once you select this option you need to select->select other system Backup and more on welcome screen and click next->select Restore my computer->click on Factory image->Restore without preserving new or changed files->yes continue, once the restoration is complete you need to restart the computer.

 On a Windows 8 system you need to select advanced options from change pc settings and then select Troubleshoot->Dell Backup and Recovery, once recovery is complete reboot the comp.

 If this doesn’t work please send me a private message with service tag or order number of the computer, I will check and let you know what best can be done. To send a private message, click on my user name and select "start conversation".

hi, i have tried your suggestion but it came out with the same error. 

i have tried to find a way of sending a private message to you but there doesnt seem to be a start conversation option

If you have issues sending private message, try sending an email. To send an email click on my name and select Send Email. I would suggest you to try an alternate browser .Let me know if you have any issues.
