Dell Inspiron 15R 7520 SE - Windows 10 64 Bit WiFi Driver not available on Dell Site

On the Drivers & Download pages for the Inspiron 15R 7520 there are only 64-bit options for Windows, whether 8.0,8.1, or 10.   So those drivers are the ones for the 64-bit version of Windows 10, as long as you filter the operating system option to Windows 10 64-bit. 

The file name may state "Win32" but if you click on the "View Details" link, and then check "Supported Operating Systems" near the bottom of the page you'll find that the driver supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

You don't mention which wireless card you have in that system so I can't link directly to the specific driver.  Which card do you have and what error are you getting when trying to install the drvier?

I would also recommend updating the firmware on your router.  Many routers need an update to be able to handle Windows 10 specific drivers and cards reliably.   What router brand and model are you connecting to?  And do you have problems with all routers or just this one.

Lastly, here is a link to the Dell Networking & Wireless Support Center.  You will find a few support articles in there that may be of help to you.

Let me know which card you have and when the last time you updated your router and, if you can't get the connection to work, I'll see what else I can suggest to help you.

Thanks for reply. I have Intel Centrino N-2230 installed on my system. I tried to update with the file "Network_Driver_N80VN_WN32_10.0.0.0_A00.EXE" which I downloaded from dell download page for my system with windows 10 64 bit selected. Installation failed with error code. I assumed that it was because of it being a 32 bit driver as it said on the name. however if it helps I am attaching the log as below.

About the router, I have Asus N66U router which is on the latest firmware release. I don't have any connection issues with any of the other range of devices utilising wireless connectivity in my home network. Just this dell machine.

Here is the download link directly from Intel for Version: 18.1.1525.1445 (Latest) for the Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230.   Try downloading and installing that driver version and see if it works.

Thanks Todd, I already have this driver installed & I am getting the connection drop outs. Intel has recommended to use driver provided by Dell. I believe that will solve the issue but I can't get windows 10 64 bit Dell version of the driver.

Some people have been reporting that using the drivers for Windows 8.1 work well with the Intel 2230.  Here is a link to the Windows 8.1 version of the driver for the Intel 2230.

I've been experiencing the same issues. To be more accurate, if my computer went to sleep, I would lost the wifi connection until the next reboot. I just installed the Win 8.1 64 driver from this page:

and my issues seem to be fixed.

@Todd: I think you provided the link to the Bluetooth driver only and won't help here.

I also have similar problem. I have dell se 15r 7520.

Dell which is a brand,,still fail to provide windows 10 64bit drivers.

I am posting a jpeg for-

1. all latest drivers download from dell site recommended for my laptop.

2. which show how dell fails that is shame on dell,,,,

still after how many days launching of windows 10 if fails to provide drivers and

still a helpful response...........

Well, looks like I'm still having problems... We really need working drivers.

I am having the exact same problem. My computer is now basically a paperweight .

In the Windows Event Viewer I keep getting this error every time the connection drops:

The network interface "Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 2230" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets.
Reason: The network driver requested that it be reset.

Anyone manage to solve this?? I've tried the drivers from Dell and they all fail on installation with the same error @praveenjohri shows. And the ones directly from Intel don't fix the error.

I have also experienced the same problem with the wifi. I am tried using windows 8.1 and 10 drivers both provided by Intel and Dell as well.

Not only that I have also updated the router's firmware, and it seems the update is not having any effect on the connection quality.

The issue is same if I connect to a different wifi network or a mobile hotspot. It is not robust and has connection drops to a great extent. Even just to write this post it took me more than 1 hour to have a stable connection to just login and post this.

Same error log is shown while installing the driver for windows 10 64 bit which has been shown by praveenjohri.

WE NEED A GOOD DRIVER! PLEASE ANALYSE THE ISSUE. SOME WORK IS NEEDED.

I have had the same issue and everytime i end up reverting back to W8. Each time i upgrade to w10, i hope there is a fix that would work.

it's very frustrating as w10 is worth the upgrade but laptop without wifi is simply useless.

Frustrating to be nearly forced to go to Windows 10 and can't use internet!

I found a solution to this problem of locating the correct wireless card drivers. The wireless chip in the system is a Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230, Single Band
