Dell Network Assistant - ezi_hnm2.exe

Hi,

on startup and when trying to open Dell network assistant i receive the following error message, titled ezi_hnm2.exe;

Your system clock appears to have been set back, possible in an attempt to defeat the security system on this program.  Please correct your system clock before trying to run this program again.  If your clock is correct, please contact the author of this program for instructions on correcting this error) report code CCB-F).

Any ideas as to cause and resolution??

Thanks

the message seems clear enough...

Have you checked the bios of your machine ?
See if the date and time are correct.

If the bios battery is empty, the date may jump to 1-1-1980 or something like that.

Maybe this helps....

The message is clear, but how do you clear it so it does not appear on every start up?

I had cleared NV ram, and then corrected the time & date in the notification area, then restarted everything works like a charm.:smileyhappy:

I could not get any real help with the forum, so I ended up calling dell and they helped me fix the problem. I don't remember the solution but I do suggest calling them.
