Dell recovery partition software missing Studio 1555
I just recovered a Dell Studio 1555 to factory by starting the process from within Windows using some Dell software. Now that software/program is not there. What is the name of the program that allows you to start the recovery process? Ctrl-F11 is not working which is not my question.
cheers

CTRL/F11 at Power On is for systems that were delivered with Windows XP. For Vista and Windows 7 systems, it's F8 at power on.
I don't know what program you used within Windows. The Dell recovery partitions are not accessed from Windows.
If the Pc was recovered by something other than the actual Dell recovery partition (PC Restore) or the boot loaded changed, the Dell recovery partition will no longer run and you will have to reinstall with discs.

Thanks for the replies. The software that was installed during the recovery was Data Data Safe Online and for reasons I don't know, not Dell Data Safe Local Backup.
So now I need to find out where I can download it from.
