Dell Support Center script error: 'g_logger' is undefined
I just got a new "Inspiron mini 10", and after all auto updates installed (MS Windows 7), I now get this error on boot, and occasionally during use:
An error has occurred in the script on this page
line: 242
char: 3
Error: 'g_logger' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: file:///C:/Program Files/Dell Support Center/sscommon/inc/ss_shellinclude.js (the actual message uses %20 at each space)
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
It looks like Dell is periodically running a script for some reason, but after the updates, one of the things it looks for is no longer available. Anyone know what this script is for and how to fix this?

I think I found the problem.
1. Uninstalled Adobe Download Manager (DLM)
2. Uninstalled Shockwave.
Don't know why there was a conflict with Dell Support Center, but this fixed my problem.

I am getting the same error message (frequently) but have neither of these programs installed on my Inspiron.
Other suggestions on how to alleviate the problem?
Thanks.

I'm the original poster.
One other thing that I noticed was that it seemed to occur if I let Adobe install more than one program when I visited their site. For example, I went to Acrobat.com to get acrobat reader, and after loading it, selected another Adobe product (Flash) to download while I was there. After doing this, I started getting the message. When I went back and uninstalled all Adobe products, then loaded one product, rebooted, went to the website again and selected the next product, rebooted, etc., then it went away. Thus, my earlier note may not be entirely correct:The problem may not be having several Adobe products installed, but rather not re-booting after each individual installation.
Good luck.

I have this same problem. Same message. I also cannot access the dell support centre. This is on a brand new laptop from Dell.
