Dell Inpiron N5010 does not have windows 8 drivers yet which might get released in future, I request you to do a complete windows update on the computer. Drivers updates are also pushed through windows update.
Then, if you are missing any drivers, I suggest you to download windows 7 drivers and check if it works.
If you have any questions, please reply to the post.
The only option if you already have downloaded Windows 8 is to do Complete Windows 8 update. Also you can check the Windows 7 drivers in Compatibility mode by following the below steps:
(1) Download the driver then double click on the file and extract it on the desktop in a folder.
(2) Look for setup file in the extracted folder.
(3) Right click ‘.exe’ file and click ‘Properties’.
(4) Click on compatibility tab
(5) Check on Run this program in compatibility mode.
Thank you very much for your answer. I will do a complete windows update on the computer. But I also hope that the homepage will update driver for windows 8 because it is the easiest way to find driver.
Windows 8 contains many drivers. e.g. I am running Windows 8 on my XPS 8300 (an unsupported system for Windows 8 by Dell). Every driver was included in Windows 8 and my system is running as it should. Likely it will be your case also install Windows 8 and then check your device manager. See here for details.
Why Dell has not tested the drivers for Inspiron N5010 under Windows 8 environment and support drivers windowns 8. Is it comfortable for users? I need a clear reason???
