Hi, etnico:
This is not a problem with your computer but with the internet page you are viewing. The fix is to disable script debugging in Internet Options.
Good luck with the new system!

HI - I am using Google Chrome and can't see how to disable debugging using Chrome. I saw another blog that said I should uninstall Dell Support Centre as that caused the error message. Is it a Dell issue and have they done anything to fix it?
Thanks,
Patrick

I've had this problem for months. My script debugging has been checked off and I still have it. Any thoughts?

I had a new laptop arrive last week (Windows 7). After installing a few programs I too have this message on start up now. I also cannot acces the Dell support centre - get the same message and the pages fail to load.

I don't think this has anything to do with the internet, as it happens on start up and when trying to access Dell support centre, which will not open. It seems some files are missing or corrupted to me.

I agree. I have seen MANY responses here and on other sites suggesting the Script Disable option and just as many that say it doesn't work. In addition, I don't see how it can be done if you use Google Chrome. This might not be the right thing to do but I have uninstalled the Dell Support Centre and I can't say I have missed it in the 4 months since it went. Certainly the annoying error message has gone and it hasn't affected my laptop in any other way. It sounds drastic and I am sure the Support Centre was installed for a reason, but until Dell can supply an official fix that works, I think deleting it is the only option.

Yes, I'm still getting this error every time I start up. It also appears randomly - Can only guess that the dell support centre looks for updates every so often. It is quite annoying to have this with a brand new laptop though the laptop still works just fine.
I had expected someone from dell to take an interest in these forums but it seems they don't?
