Fan Won't Stop Running
Last night I used the key combination CTRl+B+WINDOWS+SHIFT to solve a problem with a frozen screen after sleep mode. I wish I never had done that because now my PC fan keeps running for no reason. The core temps are below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
The airways are not blocked, the computer is not dusty. Can anyone tell me how to stop the PC fan from running unnecessarily like this?

Disconnect Charger : Shutdown by pressing an holding power button and keep holding for 30 seconds.
Now Reboot to BIOS (F2) and RESET to default
Fan should be back to normal

SOLVED for me at least, and I tried everything. SOLVED! noticed upon bootup a red MANUFACTURING icon plus "Manufacturing mode: to return to normal mode press Alt F at bootup". Remote laptop was not successful; but entring Alt F on the laptop's keyboard immediately stopped the constant fan.
hope this helps. I don't know how this came about.

The key combination Ctrl+B+Windows+Shift is used to wake up a computer from a blank or black screen. It does this by sending a signal to the graphics card to turn on the display. However, it can also have the side effect of causing the fan to run for no reason.
There are a few things you can try to fix this problem:
If you've tried all of the above and you're still having the problem, you may need to reset your computer to factory settings. This will erase all of your personal files, so make sure you have a backup before you do this.
Here are some additional troubleshooting tips that you may find helpful:
