full system restore

Good morning everyone!
 
I acquired a Dell OptiPlex GX110. It was passed down through friends & family members..., and in the course of hand-me-downs, the restore software was nowhere to be found. I was wondering if there was any way of buying the factory restore software. The computer would be for my Granddaughter, and I believe (maybe I'm wrong) the factory pre-loaded software would be nicer than if I would install Windows & download the drivers to match the OS.

Dell does not provide "restore cd's" . You will have to install XP to get a fresh start.

How about the formatation of hard drive and losing all of data. Can I have the backup of winxp home for dell inprison 6400 ?
