Gpedit in Win XP Pro on Precision T3500

Configuring new T3500 just delivered with Win XP Pro SP3 pre-installed by Dell.

We have a set of edits we make to all company PCs using Gpedit but on this machine most of the categories I usually see are missing

eg. Computer Configuration / Administrative templates / Windows components / Internet explorer  &  Computer Configuration / Administrative templates / System

I have been configuring new Dell PCs for 10 years and never had this problem before.

Can anybody explain, and tell me how to get these categories back as they are the ones I need to make changes to.

I've now found the answer from a couple of other websites so thought I'd post it here in case anyone else wants it.

You can right-click on Administrative Templates and select 'Add template'.  System.adm & inetres.adm were the ones I needed.

The web links that helped were http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-3901890.php & http://www.petri.co.il/understanding_administrative_templates_in_gpo.htm .

What puzzles me though is why Dell / Microsoft have suddenly decided not to include templates by default that have always been there.
