Hardware Profiles
Interesting thing I just noticed. I have a Latitude C810 noteobok with winXP installed. As of lately, my hardware profiles are invisible! They are there, I can still manipulate them, but it will not show the name of either one, just a blank, but I can highlight and copy etc. I have tried deleting them, and rebiulding them, but they still remain invisible.
Any ideas?

I had a bad shutdown in windows xp and it keeps booting to the hardware profile recovery menu.
Someone had suggested in one thread to rebuild the hardware profile.
How does one do that? I see in your post that you have done this before.
