HELP Denny! Screen flips, popups appear and cursor freezes .

I am wondering if there isn't some sort of worm or bug in my Dell 4300S pc. The cursor (mouse) freezes and I couldn't get it to move. But when I changed to an IBM mouse now it's working. Was there something wrong with my Dell mouse. Also, I use Juno Speedband and suddenly a message came up that Speedband is corrupted and I have to reinstall it. Also at times the screen flips and all sorts of pop ups occur. This has been happening for the past 2 weeks. I use AVG as my virus checker and I've run it several times but it says there's no virus. I do notice that Windows System/shell 32 dll says "change" and then it is "changed". Can you tell me what to do? many thanks. SRABB

Do you run a Spyware detector as well?  If not you should and scan that machine with two different products.

I'm not sure if I have Spyware. Can you tell me where to get it? I did change my mouse which was freezing the cursor. Now the cursor works ok as does the mouse. However, apparently there is a "corrupt " file which is hampering my speedband in Juno (ISP)but does not seem to be stopping transmissions.
