help with making xp bootable from usb!!!

As you have guessed i would like some help with getting windows xp to boot from a Kingston 16gb Flash Drive. I have done this with Windows 7 using the usb creator I found online. I have tried other various programs for xp including such things as unetbootin, yumi, xboot, wintousb, and other that I have forgotten at this point in time. Would someone share some useful knowledge with me and others, I have been to various fourms, websites and google a million topics all with the same results. Any help with this would be much appreciated. Could this be done through the cmd prompt?

Can the PC you want to boot from a flash drive boot from a flash drive?  Many older PCs can not.  Does the BIOS support booting from a flash drive?  Is the BIOS set correctly?   A simple test would be to take a known good Window 7 flash drive and try booting it on the XP PC.  You should be able to get at least to the first install screen.  What is the make and model of PC?
