How can I re-order Windows XP?
My hard drive failed and I ordered a new one that arrived today. I, in my seemingly boundless naievity, seemed to have disregarded the fact it would have come without the OS my system orignally did. I, in reading the forums, have realized that you could have ordered it WITH the HD, unfortunately I was unaware at the time. I have a rather difficult time navigating the Dell website so if somebody could direct me to where I can order a replacement restore disk (Yes I'm under warrenty) I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

That information is certainly not required here, and unless the system was ordered through Small Business you would not have received a CD. Home/Home Office purchases do not include one.

If you purchased through Home/Home Office use chat to request the XP CD as indicated here. If you ordered through Small Business you can't use chat so you'll have to use phone or email.
You should receive the CD within a week.

I know that they sent the CD out with my computer but that hard drive was damaged and became unusable.

No, but they offer the option of ordering the CD at the time of ordering the computer, an option missing in Home/Home Office.
