How to change windows XP language ?

I bought my Dell without the original CDs of windows XP home and I would like to change the language of windows (german to french). I try with Dell restore but it didn t offer the possibility to chose the language before reinstalling.   How can I do ?

If you are trying to change the entire GUI you need to format your hard drive and install the appropriate language edition of Windows, which you must purchase separately.
