how to use recovery driver?

HI all, I'm using DELL pp39l, may i know how to use recovery driver? I do press F8 when booting window, but there is nothing come out, please advice.   thanks a lot for the helps.

I found the reason..in BIOS, the quick boot was enabled. that's why I press F8 but no respond. thanks for the help..
