How to use russian script?

Question

My girlfriend speaks and types both english and russian, but when she writes emails home she likes to type in russian. She says every computer she uses here in America uses russian script when you hit a series of command keys, Ctrl+Shift, etc. Anybody know what might do that for mine?

What about going Tools> Internet Options>General>Font. Then under Language Script, select Cyrillic. Or am I misunderstanding the question?

Edit: Reread the question....are you referring to unicode? Does this help:
