I can not see other computers of my net
I am really sorry because I do not talk English very well, but I have a question. I have a small network at office, and, I have problems when I try to connect me to other computers or printers in the net, I can not see shared folders and printers. I have this problem in mi computer INSPIRON 6000 with windows XP SP1, I can not see the others computers. The problem is only with this computer. Somebody can help me??

I already revised that the work group of my net is the same one, but it doesn´t work even this way. A thousand thank you for their attention and collaboration and I hope you can collaborate me.

My firewalls is disabled and the workgroup is the same, but it doesn't work even this way, I cannot see the other net resources. I usually receive mail, I can connect to my server but I can not connect to the other shared stations or shared printers.

1 If you have XP Pro check this setting
"Use simple File Sharing" is checked
Type in the full name of the computer you need to find and click search
Click next
Select the second option, "Choose another network location" and click next
On this screen, type in the full path to the network share on the other computer.
The syntax of the share should be \\computer name\sharename
\\Computer Name\Shared Documents (or the name of the folder you are sharing )

Look for "Computer Browser" and make sure it started and set to Automatic
Check if fixed
Go to My Network Places
On left hand side select “Set up a Home or small office network”
Be sure to enter the same workgroup and computer names as before.
Last page of the Wizard asks if you want to run it on all the machines. Since the other machines are configured fine just answer “No” to that, so just exit that page.
Reboot
Check if fixed
3 Turn on NetBIOS over TCP/IP
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Network and Internet Connections.
Click Network Connections.
Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.
Click the General tab, and then click Advanced.
Click the WINS tab.
Under NetBIOS setting, click Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP, and then click OK two times.
Click Close to close the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.
Close the Network Connections window.
