I get a windows login screen when I press mediaDirect button

I was playing with Retrospect for backup and recovery of my Dell XPS M140 laptop. Retrospect added another bootup option to the default. Ever since that day, I have not been able to enjoy MediaDirect without launching  Windows XP in full mode.

 

Prior to this, if my laptop was shutdown and I pressed the MediaDirect button, it would quickly launch the MediaCenter player, without bringing up the whole operating system. But now, when I press the MediaDirect button on a laptop what is shutdown, it brings up complete Windows XP, asks me to login and then brings up the MediaCenter. It takes too long now.

 

I don't want to launch complete XP just for watching a movie or listening to music. How can I revert back to the previous state?
