I have to Boot Device Menu to start my PC

I have a Dimension 8300  with Win XP
Whne I start the pc it shows "loading Windows 95" on the black screen. ( I never had Win 95 on this PC)    Then it shows a bunch of stuff and eventually says  "missing command com" the goes to the
A prompt.      To get the PC to start I have to hit F12 when I get the DELL logo screen and it goes to the "Boot Device Menu"   There I have to pick # 2   Start Primary SATA Drive.   Then the PC will start with Win XP.
I tried system restore and that would not work.  I reformatted and still have the same start up problems.    Any ideas how to fix this?

Just a guess, but it sounds like you have a boot disk in the floppy drive or CD-ROM. Remove all CDs and floppy disks.

Also could be a bootable USB device (if your bios supports this). Unplug any USB thumb drives, USB portable hard drives, USB CD drives etc.
