That will work for now. But rumour has it that MS will defeat that tweak when the RTM is released. They are going to put in checks for TPM, SecureBoot, and hardware specs so that a system will have to adhere to the compatibility requirements. This video may help and he has a number of very informative videos on the requirements and present status of Windows 11.

I am sure that it installed and is updating. The problem arises when the RTM is released. As I stated MS is not going to allow any systems that do not meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 11. At this time a wide variety of incompatible systems are allowed to test the Beta versions but that will change. But all that is conjecture for now and you may be spot on and your system will run Windows 11 successfully with RTM.

An interesting trick to Install Windows 11 on older hardware.

Right Click Win11 ISO and mount as virtual drive

Open Windows 10 USB

Open Sources Folder

Right Click Win11 ISO

Mount Win11 ISO

On Windows 10 USB Delete

install.esd

On Windows 11 ISO

Open Sources folder

Copy install.wim

Copy install.wim from Windows 11 mounted iso
to Windows 10 USB to sources folder after
deleting install.esd on Windows 10 USB.

What hardware?

The Windows Insider Preview ISO installed fine on an OptiPlex 7040 with a 6th Generation Processor and OptiPlex 7050 with a 7th Generation Processor without modification. These systems satisfied all other requirements however.
