I need a 32-bit OS Windows computer -- is Windows XP , professional now available ??

I need to buy a Windows machine that has a 32-bit operating system. That is dictated unfortunately by software incompatibility -- I'm alive exclusively on the Dragon voice-recognition software and Dragon number 10 will not function on a 64-bit OS.

I'm considering buying a used XPS 400 advertise with Windows XP (service pack three) and my question becomes how the current SP three Windows XP down loadable from Microsoft places in the old XP professional versus XP home debate.  I cannot for the life of me create a home network and between my XPS 400 and an older Dell running Windows XP home. any ideas on where or whether I need to get a Windows XP professional XP three installation  greatly appreciated.

I am hoping this will prove  a low cost, short term solution that will get me through the end of the summer when hopefully Dragon has conquered the 64-bit OS and Microsoft issues Microsoft seven.

If an OS is 32-bit, it may not be called 32-bit. A 64-bit OS will usually be called 64-bit. XP Professional was available in both flavors. XP Home doesn't have a 32-bit version. Does (or do you think) your XPS 400 has XP Professional 64? If it's 64, it should say it during the boot.
