I need the Drivers, Utilities, and Applications CD

So I erased my hardrive and used the windows xp disk that came with my dimension, but none of the dell drivers or software were on that cd and now I tried getting the drivers one by one on the drivers download page, but that doesn't seem to be working well....Is there a way I can get a new cd shipped to me?

Although the downloads should be sufficient for reinstalling drivers and utilities, Dell may provide them on CD for you, along with installation CDs for applications that were included with the original system purchase.

From the sticky posts at the top of the Windows XP board: "Where can I get the Windows CD and other Dell CDs?"

Hate to rain on you're parade but I'll bet you will find reinstalling your drivers from a Dell Disk is a bear as well. You must one by one reinstall some or most of them, depending on your PC model. Wait until you see the extensive instructions Dell gives you for installing several of the drivers.

Dell could take some pointers from the IBM-Lenovo Thinkpad support site. Even when an owner must reinstall older systems like one of the (year 2000 or 2001) T2X series, you get a great auto installer to use on the site. It determines what drivers and updates you need and installs them all for you!

In my opinion, what constitutes excellent support is an Internet site that has what you need to keep your PC running well, not a voice on a phone mostly hand holding people who refuse to learn much about a PC but still insist on buying quality state of the art systems for cut throat prices.
