I wondering if I can Delete those???

Hey all,

after I reinstall vista on my laptop I accidentally download a copy on "D-Driver" so When I turn on my laptop I have to chose between two Vista operating system, but I found out that I can delete one of them from the (PCCONFIG) I did that and now I am using my vista on the "C" as before, But now on my "D" there some files such as (programs files, Windows, Users) and they are taking almost 90% of my D-volume , Can I delete them???

Hi

The files that or on D:\Recovery drive are the ones you use to set the computer

back to the way you got it from Dell its the factory restore files!

I deleted those files when I reformatted my hard drive and I have been enjoying the extra 10 gigs of storage since. Just don't delete the Media Direct partition. I personally would much rather do a clean install than put the computer back with all the junk programs that come with the computer. However, for someone who is not used to reformatting or dealing with new operating installs, I would not recommond doing this.

you have to delete the partition during a fresh reinstall of Windows, that was the way I did it.
