INP FILES
I formatted my Inspiron laptop, and during backup, my files all are saved as .INP . I am unable to open these. Help anyone? Migrestore does not work.

I had the same problem and i never have found the solution. i did my backups with dell backup and recovery. I contacted the dell french support who tryed to resolve the problem by team viewer, but finally they surrendered. I was furious. I think that this soft is dangerous.

I am attaching a screenshot. It is in like a notepad document that I cannot click on anything to open. This is from my thumb drive that I used for the backup prior to format. I need to be able to open a lot of this stuff but I sure do not know how.
THANKS

ringo45,
What software did you use to create the backup of these files? You would need to use the same program to restore the backup. If you used the Dell Backup and Restore program you would use it to restore the backup back into your computer.
