Installed a program but can't find it.
In order to get a spellchecker for my email, I downloaded Microsoft Works 4.0 software to my Dell Dimension w/ Wiindows XP. It works fine but there are other features in MS Works, namely a spreadsheet, that I'd like to use but I can't locate the MS Works program in my computer. It is not listed under ALL Programs or the Startup menu. I'd sure appreciate some suggestions.

or:
Go to start---search---Microsoft works, or whatever you are searching for.

Also "Add or Remove Programs" as Microsoft Works 7.0
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Work
------------------
As you can't download Works 4.0 from Microsoft what link did you use.?
I found a site that sell Work 4.0 without BOX for US $5 but says
System Requirements WIN 95/98 so other programs probably won't work on XP.

When you find it in search, right click on it. Click "Pin to start menu" if that option is available.
Or, right click, click "send to"=== Desktop(create shortcut)
Then at least you can access it without doing a search.

I bought "Microsoft Works" from 5dollar Software. It downloaded easily using Windows XP Office but the only way that I can retrieve it is to go to START and then Search, typing "MICROSOFT WORKS" in the search box, as suggested by msil 217.
I still can't figure out why it doesn't appear in "ALL PROGRAMS" but now at least I can use it. Thanks to both of you....

Curios.?
You say you downloaded it using "Windows XP Office" which isn't the XP Download Manager. ?
If you already had Office why did you download Works 4.0 as Office has Spell Checker that works with OE.?
Perhaps it doesn't appear in "All Programs" as isn't rated for XP only 95/98.
