Internet Connectivity
I have two users (my wife and I) running under Windows WP. Everything was working fine - i.e., I was able to connect to the Internet under both user profiles.
I installed Yahoo instant messanger, downloaded a screensaver, and added my kid's new computers to the wireless network.
For some reason, I can't connect my wife to the Internet when she logs into her user account. I can still connect under my user account and my kids can connect to the Internet on their own computers via our wireless network, so it appears that my Internet connection is still good.
Also, there is a mysterious icon on my wife's desktop called "second thought." I've tried removing the icon and the target executable file, but whenever I reboot, it reappears.
Any ideas on how to fix my wife's Internet connection?
Thanks.
Jim

Here you go. I ran this under my wife's account.
By the way, some additional information. When I switch users to my wife's account, it shows that one program is running, even though there isn't a program listed when I display the task manager. Also, the CPU usage is 85% - even when there are no programs running.
Thanks.

Thanks all for the input. I had intended on getting this posted much earlier. It was indeed a spyware issue. I downloaded Spybot (?) and it seems to have done the trick.
We're all up and running again.
Thanks, Dell, for having this forum. It's been a real lifesaver.
