Internet Explorer crashing and freezing! HELP!!
Hello I need help:smileymad: when im browsing the internet and some pages make my internet explorer freeze and crash it's doing this at least 5 times a day minimum! I need help on how to resolve this I have tech support but now Dell has addt'l support that I cannot AFFORD right now. I need to know how can I reslove this issue. Do I need to do a system restore? To wipe out everything and restore my system to it's factory settings? Or can something be done to just fix my internet explorer?
Thank You this is my first time posting here :smileyhappy:

If IE is at fault, you can run this IE repair:
Type or copy/paste the following bold text into the Run dialog box off of the Start Menu:
rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 C:\windows\inf\ie.inf
If it hesitates and asks for the location of a certain file (ie. Iexplore.ex_), point it to your i386 folder (use the browse feature if needed). If you can't find the correct location, do a search for the file asked for during the repair and make note of the path and use that path for the location. If the repair goes to completion, IE will be restored.
